And they are way too messy/crumbly. They taste overpoweringly sour and bitter; it seems like the pomegranate juice/lemon juice combo in the ingredients just does not work. I notice others complained about the texture of this bar, saying that it falls apart easily. They are right. It does crumble quite easily.. however, this is one of the reasons why I am intrigued with this bar. It like the eating a freshly baked cookie just out of the oven, or the cums from a moist and delicious crumb pie or cake, Some people can't appreciate that this is what makes this bar special. I also like the Pomegranate bits and the texture of the seeds when you are eating it. I love the grainy, seedy textures and tastes. The dark chocolate definitely comes through which is a big plus. They are filling and nutritious. OK, so a bit crumby but what's the big deal? I don't eat them "on the run". I am sitting at my desk picking at the bar while I work on the computer. No problems for me that it is not a hard rigid bar. I actually enjoyed the softer chewy consistency. A nice change with interesting flavors....good work Kashi! |
